What this site does not do

This site runs no analytics product, no advertising or social media pixels, no session recording, no chat widget, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We set no cookies. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing here to opt out of, which is why you were not asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

What we collect

When you book a call. The scheduler is Cal.com, embedded in the page and loaded only if you open it. Booking gives us the name, email address, and any notes or roadblocks you enter, plus the time you selected and your time zone. We use it to hold the call and to follow up about working together.

When you email us. Whatever you send, held in our business email so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Automatically, by the server. Our host, Vercel, logs ordinary request data — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you or connect them to anyone's identity.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies. If you complete a booking, your browser stores one item — the booking reference — so the confirmation page can show your appointment and a link to reschedule it. It lives in session storage, holds no name or email, and your browser discards it when you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for the booking you asked for.

The Cal.com scheduler is a separate service inside its own frame. It loads only when you open the booking window, and it may set its own storage on cal.com to run the scheduler and remember a booking in progress. That storage is governed by Cal.com's privacy policy.

Who else handles it

Only the vendors that run the site and our business: Vercel (hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), and Google Workspace (email and calendar). They process this information on our instructions to provide their service. Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page requests those font files from Google and, like any web request, discloses your IP address and browser to it. Google Fonts sets no cookies and serves no ads from those requests. We disclose personal information otherwise only when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Booking records and correspondence are kept while we are talking or working together, and afterwards for as long as we need them for ordinary business and tax records — generally seven years. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are short-lived and controlled by our host's retention schedule.

Your choices and rights

Email josh@jegstrategies.com and we will handle it. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. We will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents have these rights under the CCPA, as do residents of other states with comparable privacy laws. In the previous twelve months we have collected the categories described above — identifiers, commercial information about the services you asked about, and internet activity in the form of server logs — for the business purposes described above. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it from anyone under 16.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal changes nothing about how this site behaves. We honor those signals by default, in the only sense available to us: there is no tracking to switch off.

Third-party tracking

No third party collects personal information about your activity across other sites through this one.

Changes

If we add anything that changes what we collect — analytics, a chat widget, an advertising pixel — we will update this page and the effective date above before or when it goes live.
